This is a branch of Foursquare Gospel Church founded in 1918 by Aimee Semple McPherson in Los Angeles.
Sister Aimee, a Pentecostal pioneer, built the 5,300-seat Angelus Temple in L.A.'s Echo Park neighborhood. Opened in 1923 and still operating today, it was one of the first mega churches in the U.S.
